The process of developing self-honesty has been one of a willingness to share openly with trusted members in my support circles. When I am willing to trust in a Power greater than myself and bring that trust into the process of sharing with others, I feel a sense of freedom from self-imposed shame and a level of healing only available to me when I connect with others honestly.

Today I will trust that I am perfect in my imperfections, and that sharing openly is a form of self-acceptance and key to healthy recovery.
